OFFICIAL FORUM:
This is basically the meat and potatoes of our membership. In order to sign up for our Forum you must be referred by an existing member, but on occasion we accept new members without referrals. Also once you are on our forum you must adhere to our forum rules to maintain membership. Also you have to make sure that you have your settings to accept cookies or you will just stay in the login screen. Set your permissions to always accept cookies from forumco.com

B.H.M.A. OFFICIAL RULES.
* Post your real full name in your profile.
* Post your real location in your profile.
* Keep your profile upated with current Bio, Email Address, and Webpage Information.
* Post a photo of yourself in your profile.
* Send the administrator your real phone number. We will contact members at random. If a real phone number is not sent within a few weeks of signing up your account will be deleted.
* Non ranked systems are also welcome too. Send us whatever you deem important.
* Never use bad language.
* Never post anything that can be viewed as offensive.
* Remember to respect one another.
* People who are inactive for 90 days will be automatically deleted. Unless they tell us beforehand that they will be inactive due to military, illness, etc. Your name will also be removed from our member directory. Old members will be grandfathered in and shall stay in our directory as they signed up before these rules went into effect. If you return you must start all over again to become a member, so don't let your membership lapse. An internet membership can not be deleted for inactivity after they post 500 times. See below for different types of memberships.
* New members must introduce themselves on the forum within 60 days or their account will be deleted. If they come back they must start over again.
* Never knock anyone on our forum or any martial art.
* Agree to Disagree. Then move on.
* Do not post personal issues you have with the BHMA on our public forum. Contact a Board Member privately to work out any issue in a professional manner.
* No member shall profit from any BHMA event, or the use of our name. It is okay to charge but to just cover your costs. Like if you design a BHMA Tshirt and it costs you $6 to make and $4 to ship, then it is okay to charge our members $10 but nothing more.
* Promote positive and thought provoking discussions.
* Do not promote any products, organizations, or other forums unless you have over 100 posts. Put them in the appropriate forum. If you do your account will be deleted.
* You can not use the email feature of this forum unless you have posted at least 10 times.
* We only accept new members through existing members. So have your nominee sign up, and then send us their screen name and we will approve them.
* IP Addresses are tracked and will be forwarded to the authorities if the need be.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
* Internet Membership: To become an official member and get your FREE membership certificate you must post 100 times. This weeds out certificate collectors. You must also send us a copy of your first black belt certificate, and your latest one via email or through regular mail to B.H.M.A. Po Box 92 North Dighton, MA 02764
* In Person Membership: To become an official member all you have to do is teach at an official BHMA event. Also our official members can induct those martial artists, whom they know personal, like an old instructor who might not be computer savvy.
* Listing on Our Site: We do not list you on our site unless you ask nor do we send you our certificate unless you ask. The reason is some people want the certs and to be listed and some do not.
