About Me:

Born and raised in rural Virginia, I have spent the majority of my life east of the Mississippi - in Virginia, Maryland, Florida and Washington, DC. I attended various schools throughout my education, including Shenandoah Valley Academy in New Market, VA; Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD; and the University of Miami in Miami, FL. I began studying voice during my sophomore year in high school, and quickly began performing and participating in vocal competitions on a regular basis. Since college, I have been involved with numerous musical groups, including The Washington Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Washington National Cathedral, Victorian Lyric Opera, and Florida Grand Opera. Over the years, I have performed in many venues throughout the US and abroad, to include: Germany, Austria, Australia, England, Canada, New Zealand, Bermuda, Jordan, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
