His Career...
Sting without a doubt, has been one of the best and most popular wrestlers of all time. he has proved his worth on many occasions in his career. Sting has fought the best of them, Ric Rude, Ric Flair, Van Vader, Hulk Hogan, and Lex Luger. He began his career about the time of the Road Warriors. Him and the now Ultimate Warrior were sort of partners in wrestling. they started out together wrestling in barns for a fifty dollar payoff. he would drive nearly 300 miles every other day, it was horrible. Even though they did all of that, they really sucked, so they decided to paint their faces. Then that's where The Ultimate Warrior got a flat top haircut, and where Sting got his white flattop haircut. He wrestled many people, and soon was hired by WCW (World Championship Wresling) During these great times, he made up many moves which he uses constantly today.
The first move he did was the Scorpion Death Lock. That is like a Sharpshooter, which hurts your back and your feet. He was such an energetic guy that one time he jumped on a guy from across the ring, and the crowd liked that so he stuck with it and later on, called it the Stinger Splash. Later on he made up a new move called the Scorpion Death Drop. That is like a reversed DDT where your head is smashed into the canvas. His moves are great, and very, very effective in the ring.
He was always hyper and energetic. The people loved him, and got a reward called wrestling most popular wrestler of 1992. Sting was just a fast paced guy. But all that changed in 1996 when Hulk Hogan announced to the world that he was coming from the bad side now. Sting didn't take that lightly, he too made an announcement that he was now a free agent. From that time on, he didn't speak for a year and a half. He was now the black and white dark Sting we all know of. He fought Hogan multiple times during this, and won the belt from him. But later he found out that the belt was to be held up. He spoke for the first time to the guy ordering the belt form Sting. he said, "You got no guts", and he said to Hollywood Hogan,"you, your a dead man". He would then later win the belt from Hogan. He not only took the belt from the nWo, but he brought the belt back to WCW. It was great!
Then later on for some strange reason, Sting joined the Wolfpac. He was now a member of the nWo red. He had betrayed WCW. Sting got hurt, and left for almost a year. But now just recently he came back, he back back in black. He is now the black and white Sting we all know and love. Sting........ what a superior wrestler. Those kinds of things are the tings that have made Sting the now eight time WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WOOORRLLLD!!! This is Sting!
