Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg! Legions of believers echo the war chant summoning pro wrestling's greatest gladiator. Owner of wrestling's longest winning streak, 170-0, he has captured wrestling and movie stardom. The big question is – Who's Next?

Obake, Japanese for "spirit of the monster" is Goldberg incarnate. Disposing of opponents with viper-like swiftness, he strikes with awesome devastation utilizing the "spear and the jackhammer." Sporting a closely cropped scalp, trade-mark tattoo and psyched-up entrance, this muscle mass of intensity has exploded on WCW with incredible force sending shock waves of acclaim around the world.

Before his wrestling success, Goldberg's relentless, attacking style attracted two-time All-SEC honors at nose guard for the University of Georgia Bulldogs and pro football stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams.

As a long time Oakland Raiders fan who idolized the late, crazed John Mutuszak, Goldberg enjoys "living on the edge." He grew up flying gliders and acrobatic planes with his two brothers in Tulsa. Even though he is the son of a doctor and a concert violinist, he spends most of his time supplying patients rather than being one. Goldberg champions the cause for animals as spokesman for the Humane Society of the United States. He has twice spoken to Congress on Capitol Hill concerning animal-fighting laws.

Goldberg has gained the spotlight with cover profiles in "Entertainment Weekly," "TV Guide" and "POV," along with articles in "People," "Spin," "Rolling Stone," "Gear," "Jerusalem Report," "React Magazine," "The New York Daily News" and "USA Today." He has appeared on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Live with Regis & Kathie Lee" and "The Dennis Miller Show." Goldberg made his TV acting debut on "The Love Boat." His first big screen project was Universal Soldier II with Jean Claude Van Damme.

Bursting with activity, maybe the real question for Goldberg is – What's Next?

BIO:

Disposing of opponents with viper-like swiftness, when Bill Goldberg strikes his attack is quick and deadly. As his countless rivals have rapidly learned, this man means business. This ripping muscle mass of intensity has impacted WCW like a meteor with shock waves slamming bodies and winning fans worldwide.

Goldberg's ring of terror is a hand-off gridiron glory from the NFL and Georgia Bulldogs. His relentless, attacking style attracted two-time All-SEC honors at nose guard and pro football snaps with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams.

After an injury shortened his pro football career, the natural arena for his speed, power and trademark explosiveness was the squared circle. Goldberg's closely cropped scalp, menacing tattoo and psyched-up entrance is a prelude of intimidation leading to the ultimate devastation of his finishing move, the "Jackhammer."

As a long-time Oakland Raiders fan who idolized the late, crazed John Mutuszak, Goldberg enjoys "living on the edge." Growing up flying gliders and acrobatic planes with his two brothers in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he also groomed his scrappy skills as a bouncer at age 17. As the son of a doctor, he spent most of his time supplying patients rather than being one.

He's ascended the WCW ranks at a full-throttle pace, keeping as firm a grip on the Heavyweight Title as he does on his challengers. Goldberg's rise to fame has propelled him into the limelight, with profiles in The New Yorker, The New York Daily News, and USA Today; he has even appeared on The Love Boat. Bill has used his celebrity status to further his favorite causes; he's the spokesman for the National Humane Society and gives his time freely to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

FINISHER:

The Jackhammer, one of he most widely talked about finishers in history, and it has only been around for a little over a year. It is executed as a normal suplex to start. Goldberg puts his opponent in a headlock then takes the opponent's loose arm and puts it over his head and grabs his tights. All at once Goldberg lifts the opponent up into a vertical suplex, holds for a second or two and drops down into a powerslam, falling on top of the opponent, and going straight into a pin.
