**Strong One**
Written: 2/19/98

You're sick
but I must count on you.
I'm tired of loss
and you know what's going on.
You have to be the strong one,
for me.
You've always been strong.
First, your father
then your sister.
You're my baby girl.
You're my only little girl left.
I don't want to lose you.
I love you but I don't understand.
Why didn't you tell me?
I'll be behind you every step of the way
but you must be the strong one.
