Nothing says fall more than apples!
Crisp, juicy apples and cider, fresh from a local orchard...
candy apples at the fair... or a house filled with the wonderful
aroma of apples and spice coming from the kitchen.

This Hot Mulled Cider Recipe can be prepared early in the day
and simmered in the crockpot for up to 8 hours before serving.
Add cranberry juice for Apple-Cranberry Spiced Cider.

The Apple Products Research & Education Council has recipes for Golden Harvest Apple Punch,
Spiced Cider Tea, Quick Hot Spiced Cider and other wonderful fall apple beverage recipes.

Here's an easy recipe for homemade caramel apple dip - Yum!!!

Caramel Apple Dip

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 can Eagle Brand™ sweetened condensed milk
Preparation -
Melt the butter in a saucepan overlow heat. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup and sweetened condensed milk. Raise the heat to medium high. Bring to low boil stirring constantly. Lower the heat to medium and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool to room temperature, stir and serve with apple wedges. Store any unused dip in the refrigerator. Microwave a few seconds to soften before using, if necessary.
