OBITUARY -

LOWERY - REX W,, 49, died at the residence Sunday, 4204 Dorris Avenue. Survived by wife, daughter, Mrs. Marie Gunn; two sons, Charles and Richard Lee; sister, Mrs. Lee Roy Jones, Chattanooga; sister, Mrs. G. C. King, Jacksonville, Fla. Funeral services Tuesday, 2:30 p.m., Nazarene church. Revs. Albert Marshall, Thomas Garrett officiating. Pallbearers, S.L. Willbanks, Willis J. Moore, Sam Williams, Jim Collins, Hugh Pass and Emmett Carden. Interment, Forest Hills. Body is at Smith's Chapel. Arrangements by the Smith Funeral Service.

OBITUARY -

Mrs. Treva Lowery

Mrs. Treva Rockett Lowery, 77 of 1820 Foust St., Chattanooga, died this morning at her residence. She was a native of Huntsville, Ala., but had lived in Chattanooga for the past 60 years. Mrs. Lowery was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was the widow of Rex W. Lowery. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Houston (Marie) Gunn, Chattanooga; one son, Richard Lowery, Chattanooga; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Foster, Jackson, Miss.; one brother Carson Rockett, Birmingham, Ala.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren an d several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Garden. The body is at the funeral home.
