OBITUARY -
LOWERY - ROY RAYMOND, 64, of Rt. 1, Ringgold, Ga., died Saturday morning in a local hospital. He was a member of the East Lake Christian Church and the East Ridge Masonic Lodge. He was retired from the Catoosa County School Board of Education. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lois Ford Lowery, Ringgold; son, David Lowery, Greenville, S.C.; daughter, Mrs. Theresa Haggard, Chattanooga; two stepchildren, H. K. Lerch, Chattanooga, and Mrs. Susie Allen, St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mable Broyles, Ringgold; Mrs. Ethel Bowman, Ringgold, and Mrs. Helen Brock, Rossville; brother, Herman Lowery, Pekin, Ill.; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at the East Lake Christian Church at 2:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Steve Morris and Rev. Luther Bettis officiating. The body will lie in service at the church. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery, Hooker, Ga. The body will be at the Stewart Funeral Home, Ringgold, Ga.
