OBITUARY -

LOWERY - CLINTON TAYLOR, 64 of 2722 Glass St., died Friday afternoon in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he was the son of the late Love and Bertha Jenkins Lowery. A veteran of World War II serving in the Air Corps, he retired from the Tennessee Highway Department in 1969. He was a member of the Brainerd Masonic Lodge F&AM and a member of the Alhambra Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Juanita Graham Lowery, and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Pruitt, Downey, Calif. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Turner Funeral Home.

OBITUARY -

LOWERY, JESSIE JUANITA, 81, of Harrison, died Monday at her home. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of Chamberlain Memorial Baptist Church and its TEL Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Mattie Graham, and her husband, Clinton Lowery. Survivors include her aunt, Carrie Pendergrass, Chattanooga; and several nieces. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Don Long officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. today at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
