OBITUARY:

LOWERY-HOUSTON, age 79, passed away at the residence, 3404 1/2 Fifth Avenue Sunday afternoon. Surviving are his daughters, Mrs. F.M. Elliott, Chattanooga; Mrs. E.W. Edgemon, Ringgold, Ga; two sons, J.T. Lowery, Chattanooga; R.B. Lowery, Rock Springs, Ga.; also five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Kingwood Baptist Church at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, with the Rev. Leon Riddle conducting. Burial will be in Lominick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Henry Elliott, Elizah Elliott, Olen James, A. G. Harris, S. C. Williams and Troy Edgemeon. The body will remain at the National Funeral Home until the hour of service.

OBITUARY:

LOWERY-MRS. SERLDA, age 77 died at the residence, 3517 Fifth Avenue, early Friday night. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Edgeman of Ringgold, Ga., and Mrs. Ruby Elliott of Chattanooga; two sons, R. B. Lowery of Rock Springs, Ga., and J. T. Lowery of Chattanooga; three sisters, Mrs. Mossie Louise, Mrs. Pearl Collins and Mrs. Luther Chambers, all of Chattanooga, and five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the National Funeral Home.
