Now it's time to sew the darts in the front of the bodice. Once again, you must be sure to sew EXACTLY on the seam lines. Poke a straight pin through one side of the dart, and then see that the pin comes out on the line on the other side of the dart. Use at least 2 pins, then you can sew the dart. Again, you can lay the garment on a piece of tissue paper to stabilize it while sewing. Trim the excess after sewing the seam.

Next step, sew the side seams. Pin the sides together, again making sure that the pin goes through the seam line on each side of the garment. Use tissue paper under the garment while sewing, then press the seam allowance flat.
