Kids, I advise that you get the help and supervision of your parents for all cooking, especially recipes that involve using the stove or boiling water.
2/3 Cup of Cornflour
1/4 Cup of Water
Food Colouring
Mix Cornflour and Water, stirring well. Add more water if it is very difficult to stir, keeping in mind the mixture must be very thick. Add food colouring.
The idea of GOOP is that when held in your hand or poured over a table, it goes hard. But when you open and tilt your hand or run your fingers through the GOOP on the table, it becomes runny. TRY IT!
1 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Salt
2 tspns Cream of Tartar
2 Cups Water
2 tspns Oil
Food Colouring
Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar together in a large saucepan. Gradually add water, oil and colouring. COok over a medium heat, stirring constantly until a ball forms. Remove from heat, knead till smooth.
4 Cups Flour
2 CUps Salt
Water with Food Colour
1 tspn Oil
Mix salt and flour together. Add coloured water gradually to make doughy consistency. If it is too sticky, add more flour. Add oil and knead until smooth.
***Playdough Storage - Store in an airtight container. Add oil if it dries out slightly.***
1 Cup Lux (soap) Flakes
2 Cups Hot Water
Food COlouring
Mix ingredients and beat to a foam with an egg beater. DO NOT STORE, use once only.
2 Tbsp Cornflour
Small amount of water to make thick paste
2 Cups Boiling Water
Food Colouring
Add small amount of water to cornflour, stirring mixture until thick. In a basin, gradually add water to cornflour mixture, stirring constantly until thickened. Add food colouring. STORE in sealed container in fridge.
