Indigenous victims of Sajek Muslim attack

On 20 April 2008, the Bengali settlers backed by Bangladesh army attacked and burnt down 76 indigenous houses in Sajek. The aim of the attack was to drive out the indigenous villagers and grab their land. The indigenous victims survey their home after the attack


Bengali settlers sexaully abuse a Tripura woman in Panchari

On 18 October 2009 at 11.00, Muslim settlers sexually abuse a primary school teacher of Sindhu Karbari Para under Panchari upazila (sub-district). The Muslim settlers attacked her while she was taking bath near a stream.

The Muslim settlers tried to rape her at knife point, but the woman started shouting and Muslim settlers fled the scene. She was not able to mention their names but she knew their faces.
