Bangladesh army search 2 indigenous houses in Guimara

On 22 February 2016, Bangladesh army led by a captain searched 2 indigenous houses at Darjeeling Tila in Guimara town under Khagrachari district.

The soldiers first entered the house of Mongchai Marma (69) and searched his house.

Then they went to another house rented by some female indigenous students (SSC candidates) and searched each and every corner of it.

However, nothing incriminating was found during the search that began at 9 am.

The soldiers misbehaved with the indigenous girls and asked such irrelevant questions as ‘Where have you been last night?’ and ‘Where are the two armed men you were seen roaming with in Guimara bazaar last night?’
