In May 1986, Bangladesh army personnel gang raped Mrs. Subodhini Tripura (25) wife of Mr. Tripura of Rambabu Dheba, Matiranga and then attacked her with knife. She took refuge at Tripura state of India with her family. This photo was taken at refugee camp in Tripura, India.

Bangladesh army attempt to rape indigenous women in Laxmichari

On 26 June 1993, a Bangladesh army soldier of 26 EBR from newly established Suknachari army camp entered an indigenous house at Suknachari of Barmachari Union in Laxmichari, Khagrachari district.

The Bangladesh army soldier solicited the house holder's wife with money to offer her young daughter for sex. On refusal, the soldier tortured the house holder's wife. The victim is:

  1. Mrs. Jugamukhi Chakma, wife of Mr. Tira Sen Chakma of Suknachari, Barmachari Union, Laxmichari.

On 26 June 1993, a Bangladesh army soldier from the same newly established Suknachari army camp molested an indigenous house wife by touching her nipples while she was on the way to work. The perpetrator was compelled to flee as one person from a nearby house came forward at the screaming of the victim for help. The victim is:

  1. Mrs. Allapati Chakma, wife of Mr. Bira Sen Chakma of Suknachari, Barmachari Union, Laxmichari.

On 26 June 1993, a Bangladesh army soldier from the same newly established Suknachari army camp molested an indigenous girl for raping. The victim is:

  1. Miss Rangamila Chakma, daughter of Mr. Tira Sen Chakma of Suknachari, Barmachari Union, Laxmichari.
