On 19-20 February 2010; Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers attacked the indigenous people at Baghaichari leaving an indigenous man dead. The aim of the attack was to drive out the indigenous Chakma Buddhists and grab their land. The indigenous Buddhist man gunned down by the Bangladesh army.
Bangladesh army murder an indigenous man in Barkal
On 11 Nov. 1991, Bangladesh army from Zolem Para army camp in Barkal led by Commander Mansur Ali arrested a supporter of the Jana Samhati Samiti (JSS) in Barkal, Rangamati district.
Bangladesh army took him to the Barkal Zonal Headquarter. Bangladesh army tortured him during interrogation. Later Mansur Ali strangled the detainee to death. The victim is:
