Indigenous victims of Sajek Muslim attack
On 20 April 2008 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers attacked and burnt down 76 indigenous Buddhist houses in Sajek. The aim of the attack was to drive out the indigenous Buddhist villagers and grab their land. The indigenous Chakma Buddhists and their burnt down houses after the attack.

Bengali settlers set fire on indigenous Hindu house in Panchari

On 25 January 1987, Muslim settlers attacked the house of an indigenous Hindu person at Bharat Chandra Tripura Para in Panchari, Khagrachari district.

The attackers set fire on his house due to which all his properties including two goats were burnt to ashes along with the house. The victim was identified as Mr. Hotrafa Tripura of Bharat Chandra Tripura Para in Panchari, Khagrachari district.
