On 17 February 2011; Border Guards of Bangladesh and Muslim settlers attacked the indigenous Buddhist people at Longadu leaving at least 2 indigenous people seriously injured. The aim of the attack was to drive out the indigenous Chakma Buddhists and grab their land.

Bangladesh army rob and beat indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Rangamati

On 18 September 1985, Bangladesh Army of 305th Brigade posted at Boga Chari Camp plundered the house of Forchoga Chakma at Choichari in Rangamati. The soldiers burnt down his house and robbed his cattle.

On same day, Bangladesh Army of 305th Brigade posted at Boga Chari Camp severely beat Kala Thutta Chakma, Krishna Mohan Chakma, Shoya Mohan Chakma and his two sons, Manda Chakma at Ghila Chari in Rangamati.

On same day, the same unit of Bangladesh army beat Shova Purna Chakma of Choi Chari in Rangamati.
