Echoes In The Mist: Characters

For those who are wondering what the heck Tenchi Muyo is: WHICH ROCK IN THE UNIVERSE HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER!?! Just kidding! In the character page I have listed down all the main characters in Tenchi Muyo as well as a picture and description. I have also listed down the characters in my story as of Chapter 14.

What is Tenchi Muyo? Tenchi Muyo is the hilarious anime seires staring Tenchi who had a normal life when (based on the TV seires) two spaceship crashed near his home. The survivors were Ryoko and Mihoshi -- Mihoshi was after Ryoko. Stranded on earth, Mihoshi sent a distress signal. Aeka picked it up and went to earth. After some time, Sasami went to look for her sister. Then, after some exploring, the group freed Washu from a cave. Last but not least, Kiyone came looking for her partner. And so with all the girls living in Tenchi's home, came forth the fantstic series of Tenchi Muyo. Yeah, I made that as summarized as I could.

Then there's the second TV series with Sakuya and the OAV series which is way more complicated -- and not yet finished, might I add. But, since Echoes In The Mist is based on the 1st TV series, I'll just leave it at that for now.

TENCHI MASAKI
A typical high-school student who spent summer vacations training in martial arts at a shrine in the mountains run by his grandfather. He's a really shy sweet kind of guy, torn between all the women in the Masaki residence.

RYOKO HAKUBI
A female space pirate wanted throughout the universe for acts of armed robbery and plunder. She's short-tempered, selfish and violent. She's crazy about Tenchi, however, and sometimes his roar can make her obedient. Her special abilities include teleportation, walking through walls, and splitting. She can also send bursts of energy through her hands.

AEKA JURAI
The first princess of the universally known: Imperial House of Jurai. She is modest and neat. On the other hand, she's also extremely proud and can be quite hysterical. She and Ryoko are rivals for Tenchi's love and so they don't get along at all.

SASAMI JURAI
Aeka's sister and the second princess of the Imperial House of Jurai. She's a curious, energetic and playful girl. She's also rather cunning and enjoys trifling with Aeka and Ryoko. She's been good at housework since she was a little girl and is the hardest-working member of Masaki's household. She's very good friends with Ryo-ohki.

WASHU HAKUBI
Recognized by herself and everyone else as the greatest scientist in the universe, her intelligence cannot be measure by normal means. She's very playful and always overflowing with confidence. She spreads most of her time in the alternate dimension laboratory she built inside Masaki's home.

MIHOSHI KIRAMITSU
A first class detective with the galaxy police. She's easy going and doggedly independant. She's a master of coincidence and is always committing enormous blunders. Neverthe less, weh all's said and done, she and her partner, Kiyone, make an excellent and inseparable team.

KIYONE MAKIBI
A first class detective with the Galaxy Police. She was an honors detective who has been unhappy ever since she was paired with Mihoshi. Her earnest, sober personality makes it easy for Mihoshi and others to control her. You might say she's like a guardian for Mihoshi.

RYO-OHKI
An adorable cabbit of Ryoko who can turn into the infamous battleship. Ryoohki was also created by Washuu, and has the ability to assimilate and learn new physical forms.She's very good friends with Sasami.

Aidan
He's the sensei of Hakusana when she was a teenager on Jurai. He had this crush on her but they didn't go into a relationship.

Akari Hirasheal
Doctor who treated and became best friends with Ryoko when she had amnesia. When the two went to Kurashiki for vacation, she was kidnapped by Rosco and was brainwashed to go against Ryoko.

Akemi Jurai
She was a Jurai noble who went to earth and married Mr. Liang. After her husband died she went a little crazy and dragged her daughter, Hakusana, back to Jurai.

Asaka
One of the guardians of Jurai. He specifically guards Aeka with the help of Kamidake.

Asuza Jurai
The emperor of Jurai. He has two wives: Misaki -- who gave birth to Aeka and Sasami -- and Funaho -- who is an earthling and she gave birth to Yosho.

Amphitryon
One of the top guardians of Jurai. He was a good friend of Aeka and he escourted her in the investigation at the Ruins. Recently possessed by the Dark Lord.

Desumitsu Saito
Space pirate. Boyfriend of Ryoko a couple hundred years ago but then the Dark Lord messed with their heads so they broke up. Then he was possessed and has been chasing Ryoko -- not to mention destroying the universe -- ever since. He was recently released from the Dark Lord's clutches.

Dakota Hisuke

Erza
Lieutenant of the Galaxy Police force.

Funaho Jurai
Queen of Jurai even though she's an earthling. She married Emperor Asuza and had a son named Yosho.

Hakusana Liang
Rebel turned infamous space pirate (Red) turned Galaxy Police officer. Her mom, Akemi Jurai, married her earthling Chinese father. But when her father died, Hakusana moved to Jurai. She's handy with knives (though she uses any other weapon just as well) and her famous power is the pheonix.

Joram Silas
Supreme Guardian of Jurai. 34,840 years old. Compared to an Earthling, he looked like he was in his early 50's. He was a fiercely ambitious man who had fought his way up to his present position with neither money nor connections to help him. He has orders to annihilate the Ruins but is currently in conflict with the Galaxy Police -- they won't let him through!

Kamidake
One of the guardians of Jurai. He specifically guards Aeka with the help of Asaka.

Keiji
Spaceship of Hakusana. He was made specifically for her. The heart of Jurai ships are Jurai trees but Keiji's a tiny Jurai tree with a huge flame around it. This form matches with Hakusana's pheonix.

Ken-ohki
Nagi's ship. It's a he. And he like Ryo-ohki.

Madake
One of the guardians of Jurai. He specifically guards Sasami. He was the ex-guardian of Hakusana and the ex-partner of

Misato Nihana
When Ryoko was washed up on a beach with no memory she had three things: her clothes, three gems, and a piece of paper which read Misato Nihana. So she took on this name until she went with Akari to Kurashiki and learned who she really was.

Nagi
The best bounty hunter who has been after Ryoko forever because Ryoko is the only criminal who has escaped Nagi. She owns a spaceship named Ken-ohki.

Nobiyuki Masaki
Father of Tenchi. His wife, Achika, died. He's an architect. He was left trapped somewhere on earth with Yosho -- courtesy of Desumitsu. But her jealousy isn't anything extreme.

Red>
Lieutenant of the Galaxy Police force. His first name is the same as Hakusana's nickname as a space pirate -- which has her not so happy with him.

Rhys
Lieutenant of the Galaxy Police force.

Rosco Spiel
Space Pirate. Ex-Boyfriend of Hakusana. Now loves V? Good friend of Desumitsu and has been working with him.

Shizuka Koga
Possessed by the Dark Lord but he had somehow escaped His wrath. Resided in the Mercury Tower but the Dark Lord recently found him and destroyed him.

Soujia II
Second, better, and more improved version of Kagato's original ship -- which was actually designed by Washu. The Soujia was in the OAV series but anyway, it's still part of Tenchi Muyo!

Tsunami
One of the three goddesses (the other two are Washu and Tokimi). She's also Sasami and Sasami's ship. Really complicated and hard to explain.

Tokimi
One of the three goddesses (the other two are Washu and Tsunami). In EITM, she espcially cares for the mortal, V -- like how Tsunami cares for Sasami and Washu cares for Ryoko.

V
Boyfriend of Rosco. Works with Desumitsu. Has this rivalry with Haksuana. Has extremely strong mental powers such as leviation, teleportation, telekenesis, telepathy, making shields, so on and so forth.

Yagame
Galaxy Police ship owned by Mihoshi and Kiyone.

Yosho Jurai
Son of Emperor Asuza and Lady Funaho. He lives on earth and had a daughter named Achika. Tenchi is his grandson. Despite his amazing Jurai marital arts skills, he was left trapped somewhere on earth with Nobiyuki -- courtesy of Desumitsu.
