Above all, art is and should be fun. It should be fun for the artist and should intrigue the beholder. If creating art is not gratifying and fulfilling, it looses much of its allure. Art can be a very powerful form of expression, but for me it's primary purpose is to provide enjoyment. I find the creative process as interesting as the final product, and I believe that the process should be enjoyable.

My art is a cumulative effect of my imagination, acquired technical skills, artistic creativity and life experiences. I enjoy all forms of art, from the traditional mediums such as drawing, painting, poetry and sculpture to more contemporary forms such as animation, digital art and digital photography. I am continually exploring new mediums and artistic processes to provide avenues for my enjoyment, creativity and self expression.

I very much enjoy both painting and drawing, and the challenge of giving depth and life to a two demention space. Having a background in woodworking and steel fabrication, I find that I enjoy the craftsmanship of sculpting in steel, wood, stone and mixed media. I find the sculpting processes extremely gratifying.

Digital arts and computer animation are both natural extensions of my education in computer technologies, and are an important aspect of my overall artistic interests. I love animation as an art form, both watching it and creating it. I also find photography fascinating. I attempt to use photography to capture images that offer an artistic and uncommon documentation of life and the world around us.

Thank you for taking an interest in my work.
