The Greenview Cemetery originated with the Methodist Church, services being held in homes and later , at the Montrose School.  In 1905, the congregation was based at Spring Lake .The Montrose Congregation moved the Spring Lake Methodist Church to the site known as Greenview Cemetery in 1911, until November of 1944, when the Church was sold, and the congregation once again moved, to Rosalind where they purchased the Melrose Municipal Building on main street and converted it to a Church after moving this building onto lots 14 and 15, block 3. After the completion of this project, the Church became known as the Rosalind United Church.
