Bellando Coat of Arms

This family crest has evidently been in existence for quite some time. It is authentic and has been validated by the director of the Italian Genealogical Institute. The inscription underneath is written in Italian but translates as:

Ancient lineage bloomed in several locations of Italy. Joseph was vice-consul of Taranto in Southern Italy. Part of the family lived {in Genoresato?} where they have been remembered since the 14th century. The coat of arms used by the Bellandos proved the ancient notoriety of the ancestors because in the past only the noble or notable families used it.
