Angband makes up an important part in The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkein. If you haven't read it, it may be hard RPing in the culture. There are people named in the book, a lot of them coming from Angband. From the book, it seems that Angband should be the ideal culture for both the gigantic poses of the oldbie player, and the timid questions of a newbie.
