The Judds: Review

The Judds looked wonderful after 9 years since their last performance in the Astrodome for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Thier chemistry together was magical and it made for a most entertaining evening.

Naomi looked radiant and in good health in her blue rhinestoned sequined pant suit. "I haven't gotten to dress up like this in so long so I went a little overboard with the rhinestones. Look we don't match," she said to Wynonna and the crowd. Wynonna had on a long, faux cow print jacket and a leopard print hat, she looked like she'd be burning up in it, but she looked great.

They started off the set with their classic song "Girls Night Out" sending the crowd into hysterics with the first beats of the song. Soon they had the whole Astrodome rocking along with them. In a whole the whole performance was emotional, but even more so when they sang a song Naomi had written called "River of Tears." They both looked like they were on the verge of crying, but they kept their cool. They got the whole crowd into it with one of their biggest hits "Why Not Me." The song I was waiting for the most was "Mama He's Crazy" and it looked as if most of the crowed was waiting for it also, along with "Grandpa" that got some of the biggest cheers of the night.

Wynonna did her thing alone, singing her new song "Nobody Loves You Like I Do" along with her first solo hit, "No one Else on Earth", which made the crowd go wild, singing along.

They ended the show with the last song they'd performed 9 years ago, "Love Can Build A Bridge", which obviosly made them on the verge of tears as they held onto each other, smiling.

I'd say their comeback to the dome was as successful as could be imagined, and I'd definatly go to see them again if they ever decided to come back to Houston. So I recommend, even if you hate country music, to check them out because you will not be dissapointed.

This is not accurate because it's kind of hard to remember every little detail, but I put the best parts in my review.
