Further Notes:
The games on Monday
, May 3 2010 were cropper due to rain. The Zimbabwe and England
lost with just 5 and 10 overs bowled. Zimbabwe were unlucky yet
they have one more game against NZ to cruise into super eight.
England should not have problems as they play Ireland. So
only Pakistan could come into real trouble if Australia want
them out of the contention!! Why should they do it.. Pakistan is
as such not the same team that won the last year and they are a
wonderful side to watch...
* The scores from
second innings incomplete matches have not been considered for
records!
In the sixth and the
last game thus far.. twenty wickets had fallen in a Twenty20
encounter for the first and probably the last time. As many as 5
wickets fell in the last over of the Australian innings bowled
by Mohammad Aamer of which two were run outs and not a single
run was conceded. Yet Australia beat Pakistan by huge margin of
34 runs sending them all out for 157 runs.
