these are the stars who brighten my life
First up there is my dear lifelong friend Lizzy.... (1000 appologies Lizzy for taking so long to do this since you've been online!) Liz and I have been best friends for um .. let me see... 30 years!! lol (scary isn't it). Of course there is too much history to put here (I mean I could right a best seller with that material! hehe)... but over the years we have worked together, played together, lived together and even had our babies together... and now FINALLY she is online :)
The most wonderful memories I have are of our many hours, months, years of singing and playing the guitar together : ) I love ya Lizzie and look forward to our annual visits - its just a pity we can't manage to see each other more often :(
PUP28 (is it still 28 pup? lol)...oops! she just informed me that she is now Pup99!!! My how time flies when yer havin' fun! LOL...... Pup has such a wicked sense of humour and hehe, there's not too many secrets between us either...hey puppy??? LMAO!!! *wink* The wonderful bit of serendipity that happened from my friendship with PUP is that when she came over from NZ to visit, she introduced me to her sister "shux". Shux didn't live too far from me so we got together a few times over an ale or 2....SHE too become a lovely friend! The most INTERESTING thing about PUP though is that she's NOTHING like how she comes across on the net. This seemingly wicked, foul mouthed creature is actually a very shy and reserved sorta person...wierd! LOL....the other interesting thing is...I love BOTH of the pups..lmao!! wtg puppy!! And its GREAT to have you in euchre at last!! hehe ...*hug*.....
.... on 25/3/00 Shux sadly lost her battle. I will never forget her intelligence, humour, zest for life and her courage and strength in trying to keep it. She will always be in my memory.

CYBERSAL.....here we go....crossing all catagories here!! LOL ....Sal has been a RL friend for the past ..er ..um..16 yrs!! (when she was dating -- and eventually married-- a mate of my X hubby). She's SUCH a good friend that She and her family are more like 'family' than friends! (not only to me but also to my daughter). Sal is a REAL political animal (with an honors degree in political science to prove it) and a real character!! Hehehe Sal....who ELSE could ring...and after just the first "HI" ...have both of us in stitches for a full 5 minutes!! LMAO!!!
It now seems appropriate to give VAGABOND and PENNY Q a special mention. These are two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet on the net (and I'm quite sure in RL too!). Without their help I'm not sure that I would have been able to get this page together! Thanks Vaga for your hours of 'patient' assistance and for making things so 'clear' to me! LOL ....and to Penny, for filling in when he wasn't available....(hehe...notice I used your favourite colour for your entry here?? LOL) I really recommend you visit their sites (listed in the links below), they are true page building gurus....their pages are BEAUTIFUL! Now for my mates up here on the coast who I met in vp too!!!...and since then we've become pretty good ones in real life!! I'm talking about BROCKY and DELATITE, and NIXY and BODEE. Brocky is beautiful, Del is delicious, Nixy is naughty and Bodee is well .. just plain damned 'sweet'...LOL..(sorry bodee...couldnt think of a word meaning 'handsome' here that would work!! LMAO!) ...anyway...he's extra good at doing the dishes!! WTG Bodes....there should be more of it!! (You listening there Del? LOL). They are all REALLY nice people and alot of fun. (you can see them all if you go to the Party Pic link)I am so GLAD to have found you all, and that you are close enough for us to have our regular get-to-gethers! *hugs* for the girls and *kisses* for the boys! Also a big hi to Partlew who I met in online euchre. Partlew is from Brisbane and regularly holidays in my area ... we too have enjoyed the odd ale or chardonnay hehe ... she also had the pleasure of giving me my first REAL LIFE game of euchre! Believe me, I'm a much better player online - that way I don't forget who the dealer is and what trump has been called!! lmao
Another good friend is CUPPA. (We have been through a bit too hey! LOL) Cuppa and I holiday'd in Perth together at the beginning of the year...she also came and spent a few days with me around April ...AND was here again recently for our October vp party!! She's a lovely lady too...and its great to see her as often as I do!! Wish you LOADS of happiness Cups!!! *wink*
MILLIE is a great mum and a real treasure. VP would not be vp without millie (and her brb's...lmao), she's been there as long as I can remember...we both started out really 'green'...lol...Hey Mills, we've come along way since then hey what? pmsl.
