Apple Crunch Pie

Pie Crust
  • 1 1/2 flour
  • 2 tsp.sugar
  • 1 tsp.salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 T. Milk
    Combine above ingredients & mix well. Roll, then place in an ungreased 9" pie pan. Flute edges. Set aside.

    Filling

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 to 4 cups thinly sliced apples(about 4 medium size)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
    Mix the above ingredients together in a large bowl. Spoon into the unbaked pie crust.

    Topping

  • 1/2 cup Grapenuts or Rice Krispies
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 C. margerine
    Combine above ingredients and sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes.
