Tuna Helper Casserole

  • 1 box "Cheesy" Tuna Helper®
  • 2 cans (6 oz. each) tuna in water - drained
  • 1 can (4 oz.) sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 can (16 oz.) French-cut green beans
  • 2 cups Durkee fried onions
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation -
In a large skillet, prepare the Tuna Helper® according to package directions, but add 2 cans tuna, as listed above, instead of 1 can tuna. Add the black olives and French-cut green beans to the prepared tuna mixture in the skillet. Simmer for about 5 extra minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup Durkee fried onions. Transfer the mixture to a greased 3 quart baking dish. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese plus the remaining 1 cup of Durkee fried onions. Bake in a preheated oven at 400º for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the onions are very lightly browned.
