Meatloaf

  • 1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1 can ( 8 oz.) tomato sauce, divided

Preparation -
Mix all the ingredients together, except half of the tomato sauce. Spray a 9" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place the mixture in the prepared loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 1-1/4 hours. Drain the fat from the pan. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top of the meatloaf. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Let stand at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
