Hello, everyone!

Hi! Welcome everyone to my website! If you're curious as to the meanings of my website address, then here goes: an eighty cutting score is a perfect score, the highest score you can get. Therefore, an eighty would include the perfect cut. This site is about myself and my hobbies. I have many hobbies, but probably my largest one would be cutting horses. Interested in learning more about cutters? Go here and check out the official National Cutting Horse Association's website! If you couldn't care less about cutting horses, then don't worry, because there's something for everyone here.

What is cutting, by the way?

During a show situation, a cutter rides their horse into a herd of cows that are at the end of the arena. Taking a smaller part of the herd, the cutter gets behind them and drives them towards the middle of the arena. The rider then singles one cow out of that small herd infront of him and then tries to keep that cow away from the rest of the herd. Once that single cow is selected and the other cows have returned to the rest of the herd, the rider must drop his/her hand and is not allowed to rein the horse or penalities will follow. The horse must keep the cow away from the herd with only leg commands from the rider. You have 2 1/2 minutes to cut 2 or 3 cows. Cutting is an exciting event and the horses seem to love it as much as the riders. Another good cutting website to visit is: Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association

Another good site to check out is: Kern County Cutting Horse Association! One of these days, I might actually be in the standings. So, check it out! I'm also a member of the Central Coast Cutting Horse Assocation. Check out their website at: CCCHA. Once again, I may be famous one day because of my superb riding abilities (maybe not). So, check out the website and you just might see my name!

Here are the things that I love to do (that don't involve horses) and in no particular order:

Sorry! Under construction!

This site is under construction and hopefully it will be done by the end of May (2000).

Surprise, surprise...It's past the end of may and I still haven't finished the website! Please be patient. I have some more things I'd like to finish up before I go into my big "Horse Central" project and then I'll be done.
