It's been exactly a month minus a day since I have seen Corey Feldman last, and as luck would have it, I did again... Today has been the best day of my life!!! I traveled from Calabasas to West Hollywood to finally see Corey in concert, which I wasnt able to do on his birthday party, and I had even more fun this time!!! I waited all day long, from about 2:30-6, to see Corey & his band (Corey Feldman's Truth Movement)... At about 5 they started setting up a table with Corey's cds being sold, and I started talking to the seller, whose name was Tim, and I learned he had been friends with Corey for 15 years, and still was (Tim used to work on the Michael Jackson tour)... I shared a few stories with him and asked him about Corey... He informed me that after his show, he would be at that table to sign things.. I whipped out my Still Searching 4 Soul album, and I bought an unsigned Love Left (they had signed ones, but Tim told me to get an unsigned one so I would be able to get it signed later especially for me - Autographs)... Earlier in the day I had gone shopping and had found a Lost Boys poster for $1... I showed him all this, including my other pic with Corey ("Corey Storey #1"), and informed Tim that I just got hired for www.coreyfeldman.com! He seemed impressed, spoke to me for about half an hour about a bunch of different things, and again told me to come back after the show when it got to be the time that Corey was going to go on... So, eventually Corey comes on, and Im amazed with how good he looks, but even more amazed with his talent... He's an amazing singer, and his cds, as wonderful as they are, dont do him justice! He kept looking my way, and nodded his eyebrows at me a bunch of times, realizing i was the only fan in the audience (who came there especially for him), and that I was also the only person singing along with him too! But, get this... I may have been imaging the nods and such, but then he hops off stage and starts dancing with me.. Now, here I am, behind a rope thinking... shit! this is sooo cool... He then dances with my best friend, ALL THE WHILE HE IS SINGING, then shakes hands with another woman... The best part for me, besides the dancing, is when Corey looks at me and sings my fave part of his song, "Walk"... "Though we could have a family...Said you can't have me, romantically", and looks straight into my eyes, and smiles, recognizing that I was singing along & that I knew the words... After about 6 songs or so, and 19 pictures later he gets off stage, then comes back on for "Its So Simple" (i love that song soooo much!!!)... He finishes, I walk over to his table briskly, and Im the first person there... I say "Hi Corey..." , he goes, immediately, "I've met you before" (with a big grin, i might add)... So, I whip out the pic of him and me together and he smiles... Meanwhile there's a little line, so Tim says to Corey "She just bought your cd, and she already had the other one"... Tim takes them from me, and hands them to Corey.... Corey signs the front of Love Left, and then looks for a place to sign on Still Searching For Soul (its a black cover and he had a black pen)... He finds one... Then, Tim asks whats in my hand (its the Lost Boys poster), takes it from me, unravels it and says to the crowd "Now, this is a real fan" and hands it to Corey to sign... I ask Corey if I may take a picture with him, and he says "Id rather get toweled off first, but if you wait here, when Im done, I'll come out and I can take one then"... So, I tell Tim Im going to wait for Corey, and he says he'll make sure Corey will come out this way, and I go off and try to convince people to buy his cd... The line diminishes, Corey goes into the building.. Eden (one of his brothers) walks by, and I smiled at him and he goes "Oh! Hey!" (remembering me from Corey's bday party, since I first met him there) and we talk for a bit.... Whats weird is that he says to me "I think I was just talking to someone about you the other day"...?!? But, anyways... Im talking to Eden for about 10 minutes while I forget I have my mom on the phone... Then I tell a few band members they were awesome... Then get off the phone... Anyways, I call up Brittnie (Corey's sister), and Im talking to her for a few minutes (Yes, Im friends with her... she was supposed to come with me today, but couldnt), and then my friend Em says to me, "Coreys coming" as a joke, but he really is... So, I say to Corey, after he comes out of the building, "Do you want to talk to Brittnie?"... "Brittnie... My sister?" (corey)... "Yeah..." (me)... "Sure!" (corey)... (He gets on MY phone!!!)... "So, She's a friend of yours?... Did you get the message from Mom I left for your b-day?... How come you didn't come today?...(yada yada yada)"... He hands me the phone back, and I say bye... He goes "Thats really cool that you know my sister!"... Then I ask if he can take a pic with me, and he says "Surely" which is what he said last time I asked (at his bday)... Tim takes a pic of me & Corey, but it turns out a band member did something in the back (above), so Tim goes "We're taking another one"... So, Tim took another pic (that one didn't come out! no flash!)... Then I thank Corey, and hand him a letter and say, "This is a copy of the pic we took at your birthday party, and a very short letter... Please read it" and he says "I'll definitely read it later"... Then Em says, "Corey, you should kiss her"... so, of course.. Corey kisses my cheek... Then, I tell him Im glad I got a chance to see him today in concert, cuz I got kicked out last time, and he says "At my bday party? Awww, Im glad you came to see me again, too"... And I said something back, but I dont think he heard.. But, then I say, good bye and thank you, and Im off!!! Then, I hear out of the corner of my ear (?!?) someone say to Corey, "You look really familiar, whats your name?"... I turn around to see who asked that, and Corey smirks at me (as if this was an inside joke), then says "Scott" (his middle name), laughs a little "heh" laugh, and I wave bye, and he waves back, then goes through the doors... I tell the girl afterwards that that was Corey Feldman, and then she asks me how I know him... Then, Im REALLY off! RECAP: Out of this I got, A signed Lost Boys, A signed Love Left, My Still Searching For Soul signed, 2 more pics with Corey, 19 pics of him in concert, a freak dance with Corey, a good convo. with both he and his brother, Corey uses my phone, and a kiss... WHAT MORE COULD I *EVER* ASK FOR?!? But best of all, I got an amazing show from a talented band, and a million memories which will last a lifetime!
