1968

The first bath for Sindy was introduced. The bath was blue with a pink tiled back and by filling the water tank, the tap actually worked.

1970

The colour of the bath was slightly altered. It now came in pink with a blue water tank and blue surround.

1975
|
Sindy’s bathroom was updated and given a new golden yellow and brown colour scheme. The bath no longer had the tank or working tap, but now came with a bath mat and towel in brown. A new washbasin was introduced. The golden yellow washbasin was attached to a white wall unit complete with large mirror and integrated shelf.

1976
|
At last a matching toilet was introduced! The toilet again in golden yellow had a brown lift up seat and came complete with a toilet mat in brown.

1979

Another addition to Sindy’s bathroom suite was launched - she now had yellow shower cubicle. The shower had a brown base, golden yellow tiled effect walls and frosted glass (plastic) doors. A battery operated pump allowed water to come out of the shower head.

1983
|
Sindy’s bathroom was updated with a new colour scheme of light blue and purple. Her bath was also changed, the main part was now moulded in one piece and it then had a 3-piece splash back. The toilet was now light blue with a white seat and lid, the wash basin had a blue sink and white wall unit and the shower had a white base with blue tiled walls.

1985

More changes to Sindy’s bathroom were made in 1985. The wash basin was now shell shaped with a blue wall unit, beaker holder and gold effect taps. The shower base was also shell shaped and was no longer battery powered, but instead operated by hand. The toilet now had a purple seat and a gold effect flush button. The bath now had gold effect taps.

Sindy’s bathroom received another change of colour - this time it came in mauve, but apart from that there were only minor alterations.

1989
|
The final colour change - Sindy’s bathroom now came in bright pink.
