'Memories don't just happen... '
 As a Canadian, born in Toronto, Ontario in 1954 and raised in Ontario, I've always loved writing whether it was poetry, short stories or letters to myself, as Laura Brown had done in 'Memories don't just happen...' Until my stay in England in 1999-2000, it never entered my mind to write a book. Today I am pleased to present my first novel for reading. To be able to say, 'I wrote a novel.' is such a genuine feeling of independence, that no one can take away and such an achievement that no matter where I will go from this moment forward, ' I wrote an novel.' I can only encourage those who love to write, to do so. Not just for their own pleasure, but to leave a little something behind, for the children to read !!!
