- Welcome to the new-and-improved Maria's Saved By The Bell Site (and
Mirror Site)! I decided that after more than two years running, it was
time for a site makeover. Hopefully the new design will prove more accessible
and easier to navigate. All your favorite information, photos and trivia
have been left intact with a few extra bonus features added to the site.
Biography and filmography information for all the cast members has been
updated and a few new photos have been added to the galleries. Take
note that there is a new message board and a new mailing list for the
Maria's Saved By The Bell Site Newsletter. If you had any threads on
the old message board, feel free to repost them or start new discussions
and be sure to sign up for the mailing list, even if you were on the
old one. Visit the Main or Extras page of the site for details and enjoy
the new design!

- Many of you may
have noticed that Maria's Saved By The Bell Site is redirecting you
to a page about being closed temporarily due to excessive bandwidth
usage. This is because the site is getting so much traffic (you guys!)
that Geocities feels the need to limit it. If you need to get to the
site and it ends up being shut down, you're in luck, because there's
a new MSBTBS Mirror Site at https://www.angelfire.com/80s/sbtbsite
that you can use as a backup.

- Maria's SBTB Site
was down for a couple weeks recently, due to some technical difficulties.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and hope you'll all continue visiting
now that it's back up.

- The Where Are
They Now? page has been updated.
- MySpace.com has
recently closed, so I'm currently looking for some web space to store
the song and sound files that used to be available here. The area will
be back up as soon as possible.
- IMPORTANT:
If you are using photos from this site on your own site, do not
just link them from my web space (i.e. img src="http://www.geocities.com/sbtbsite/zack1.jpg").
You must save them to your hard drive, then upload them to your
own web space.

- I am thinking
about adding a new section to MSBTBS that will have reviews of movies
starring the original SBTB cast. Anyone interested in writing a review
should e-mail it to me at sbtbsite@yahoo.com.
Reviews should be five to ten paragraphs in length and include a plot
description (without spoiling the movie), good and bad aspects of the
movie, and a star-rating ("bomb" being the worst, five stars being the
best). I reserve the right to edit reviews for errors and content. I
need reviews for at least five different movies before I can create
this section, so if you're interested, let me know.

- In order to improve
the functionality of this site, I decreased the file sizes of many of
the photos. This will reduce download times as you view the pages.
- New photos have
been added to the Zack, Cast and Mr. Belding galleries as well as the
Memorabilia page.
- Cast information
has been updated for Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Mario

- A new and improved
Episode Guide has been added. It contains longer and more detailed plot
descriptions and is in order by original airdate rather than episode
number.
- Maria's Saved
By The Bell Site Interactive has been launched. This area provides MSBTBS
visitors with a forum to interact with me and other users. You can use
a form to make comments and subscribe to the upcoming MSBTBS newsletter,
sign and view the guestbook and post on the MSBTBS message board. Visit
the new area by clicking on the Extras link.

- The Trivia section
has been completed. Check it out for 60 questions that will test your
SBTB knowledge.
- I have received
several questions about where to get sheet music for the SBTB songs.
I had never heard of any SBTB songbook available for purchase, but yesterday
I came across one available from Colony Music, which is located in Times
Square in New York City. You can order the songbook from Colony
Music for $13.95 plus $6 shipping.
