HOOK'S DEPENDABLE DRUGSTORES

The Hook's trucks were manufactured in 1981 by Kidco, but in an interesting twist, they were made in Macao, instead of Hong Kong like all of the rest. They came in a different style box than the rest of the "Road Baron" series, and the box back has the entire lineup for 1982 on the back, including many trucks that didn't make it to production (as far as I know). These trucks included the Kool Aid rig, and the Sunkist orange soda rig. The catalog for 1982 also shows a Dr.Pepper rig that never saw production.

The Hook's trucks were only for sale in the Hook's drugstores in Indiana, with a retail price of $5.99.
