Before the magical little ponies we know and love today were born, and before their parents, and before theirs even, Dream Valley was a place of normal, happy, non-magical earth ponies. When mutations in some of the newborn ponies started to arrise, the PPA (Pony Protection Agency) was formed to try to help those who were born with the wings and horns that so many hated and feared. These two new types of ponies became known as Pegasi and Unicorns, and were eventually banned from schools across the globe for their unheard of magical abilities. With an almost unanimous vote, the PPA soon became a place of protection not for the Unicorns and Pegasi who had no where else to turn, but for the Earth ponies who showed no signs of mutations or special powers. Today, the PPA is trying with all its power to rid the world of the mutant ponies, and bring the happy old days back to the Valley. We know, however, that their plan doesn't work, as we have seen the future ponies, and they almost all have magical abilities of some sort. But how will that magical time come about? With War or through Peace? You decide.
