a piano teacher told me when i was nine that a piano should be touched like you would touch your lover. at the time, i thought he was a pervert for saying it but now i realize he was right.
there is something lacking in me if i haven't touched my piano in awhile.
pianists are very jealous of their hands... only the privileged deserve to be touched.
and you should feel so privileged.
