Project Updates 12/01

NOS Installation I've been working on this project on weekends since October. It's pretty much done. I just need to mount the bottle in the trunk. Here's a picture of the motor during the installation.


I mounted the Nitrous solenoids on the firewall right under the rear hood seal.
I have two solenoids because a reduntant solenoid is necessary when using the
NOS Progressive controller. There is also a smaller purge solenoid there.
I mounted the fuel solenoid on the carburator heat shield.


Below is my Nitrous fuel system. I mounted an RCI one gallon fuel cell in front of the radiator support with aluminum box tubing and strips. It's behind the driver's side headlights. The Mallory 140 pump is mounted under the plastic fender well. From there, an Aeromotive inline fuel filter sends the fuel up to a Holley regulator. Beyond that is a Hobbs Safety Switch and an Autometer gauge. #6 braided line feeds the Fuel Solenoid.
