WHEN DID YOU FIRST SEE MIDGE

The first time I saw Midge was on 21st October 1999. 8.30 in the evening (YES I know its sad to remember the time!) and I had just bought ULTRAVOX THE COLLECTION on video for a relative. But because I am nosy I wanted to see it first. So I watched the video, the first video playing being Passing strangers (WINK WINK) and I was amazed at not only this wonderful voice but the striking good looks the voice came from, and iv been a fan ever since

I think it ws when he was in Rich Kids around 77 i think it was an entertainment show. He also had the best smile EVER!He looked so young, and i remember thinking that they would go far. I also used to play Midge records when i worked in a pub. Espec White China

The concert I went to was in Croydon (Fairfield Hall) It started at 8.00 and finished at around 11.00. And it was so GROOVE! The first hour was spent in watching a video on midge’s carer and it showed everything TO Silk to spilberg sky! At the middle of the concert everyone went down to the front and started singing along with midge (Well me and a bloke standing next to me anyway!) Midge’s new songs were greatly welcomed but it was the old songs that drew out the most emotion! With everyone dancing. Midge talked to the audience and really made us feel welcome!
