If a famous county music star passed through Hazzard County, and didn't have larengitis, Boss Hogg made sure there was going to be an amazing one-time-only performance at the Boar's Nest. The Dukes of Hazzard was a ratings giant in the days when there were only three networks, so many of country music's biggest stars were happy to trade Rosco's speeding ticket for a free performance. These music greats helped re-inforce that down-home feeling that "Dukes" personified. Along with the speedtrap victims, the Dukes cast also got to sing some tunes once in a while. Just remember, it might be free to get into the Boar's Nest, but it may cost you to get out!
