"Enos" was the only spin-off to come from "The Dukes of Hazzard." The series was launched in the "Dukes" episode, "Enos Strate to the Top." In it, Enos loses his job as a Hazzard deputy, but not before he makes a big capture. That act gets him noticed by the LAPD and lands him a position on the elite California Metro Squad. Once in California, Enos has to find a way to marry his backwoods style to the slick city ways of his fellow officers. Each week Enos and his partner, Turk Adams, who become known as "Grits and Greens," took on the worst Los Angeles had to offer.

Although it was an interesting idea, "Enos" never found its audience and was cancelled after only 18 episodes. It aired from November 1980 to May 1981.
