The Snorks were a cartoon created by Hanna-Barbera in 1984
This cartoon was originaly created by Freddy Monnickendam for a Beligiam comic book called, "The Snorks" This cartoon took pace in Snorkland,(where the snorks lived) an underwater world where the small, colorful Snorks lived.
The Snorks have a snorkle on their heads. According to Hanna-Barbera she says that they are, "protuding gills that propelle them swiftly through the water"! In other words they are breathing tubes that come out of the top of their heads. You can also say that they look like little worms on top of your head!!
