my best friend in the entire world is a girl named shannon. i love her more then anything. more then the stars. more then life itself.
there are a billion reasons why i love her. there are a billion things i want to do with her. there are a billion things i want to tell her. there are a billion things i want to hear her say.
I want to show you her art, but my scanner isn't working all of a sudden. so i'll put it on later. she takes photographs and paints and writes. and she's really good at all of it. she's very smart too. she knows the answer to all those questions you always thought there wasn't an answer to. her level of thought is much higher then mine, or the majority of the people i know, or have ever known.
there are songs that remind me of shannon. sometimes they make me sad because when i listen to them i miss her a lot.

Shannon is teaching me how to take good pictures. Shannon has taught me a lot of things. She has taught me how to love so perfectly that it's the most beautiful thing i have ever encountered. She's taught me the importance of telling someone you love, that you love them as much as you can. She's taught me how to express myself. She's taught me about pain and dealing with it, and getting over it, and emerging as a better person because of it. She's taught me that there are things that do last forever. She's taught me what hope is, and what faith is. She's taught me to be rational and respectful of other people. She's taught me to care for people, because yes shannon, I do care about people. I want people to all live and have the oppurtunity to be as happy as I am with you. She's taught me about people and to not get mad at people when they say things about things they don't understand, (ex. Steve.) She's taught me what true love is and what it can do to someone, to me. She has taught me the meaning of true happiness. Something I have never really ever felt before. She taught me to live.
