About The Show

Although I used to watch this show all the time, all I remember are the basic details of the show. Evie was the daughter of Donna Garland and an alien father who she communicated with via a crystal cube. Evie had the power to make everybody freeze in the moment and make things appear.

As it turns out, Evie inherited her powers from her father, Troy, who's voice was provided by Burt Reynolds. He had been called back to his planet shortly after Evie was born. At first it was only Evie who could hear her father, but from the second season on others could also hear. As the show progressed, the other characters were more involved in the story lines. Who knew that Evie's boyfriend, played by Steve Burton, would later become a soap hunk?
