Welcome to Newsletter #3. It has been a while since the last one. You may notice there are some changes- I think it is the best format compared to the previous two. To me it is more fun to concentrate on a few aspects of the '80s because you can enjoy that more than just a sentence or two. If you are a member of my Yahoo Group, 80sKarma, then you can vote on which format you like best. There will be a couple more changes in the coming months. I want to totally re-do my webpages so that I can include more pictures and sounds to the Newsletters. Now that my scanner is fixed (I hope) I can scan some of my pics.
This month's Newsletter has a theme. I decided to go concentrate on a few '80s shows, the common link is that all four feature a young female as a main character- Vicki (Small Wonder), Evie (Out of This World), Nicole (My Two Dads), and last but not least Punky (Punky Brewster). All these shows don't seem to get much recognition in the '80s forum yet I used to love these shows. Hope you have as much fun reading about them as I did researching them! There is also a section on things that happened in the '80s during the month of December, tidbits of what else is going on in the '80s world, and a quiz on this month's features.
